This camera was dropped and reads “Camera Error” when power turns on.
I was able to fix it by re-seating the sensor, it took about 3 hours to doing it.
By the way, I found something interest.
The time/date backup battery is located behind the main circuit board.
This means there’s no way to replace the battery by the user when the battery’s lifetime has reached (It will suck)
When you attached a Sony SELP1650 lens to your Sony camera, then the camera reads “Cannot recognize lens, Attach it properly” It could be the poor communication contacts on either camera side or lens side. To determine which side is faulty, simply switch the lens if you have a replacement available. If you don’t have one, why don’t you swing by our shop or send the camera and lens to us, we’ll figure it out for you for free. Based on our experience, mostly the lens is faulty and we can repair it much less than buy a new one.
